Visas

Visas are required for many of the destinations we visit, and while we strive to provide you with the most up-to-date information, requirements frequently change, so we recommend that you check with the relevant embassies or contact a reputable visa agency for the most up-to-date advice.

You should be aware that some visas have a limited period of validity, so please double-check before submitting any application, especially if you intend to apply for your visa soon.

We will advise you in due course if this is an option for some or all of the destinations on your specific trip. However, you should be aware that the process of obtaining visas for some destinations can be quite time-consuming, and your passport may need to be lodged with an embassy for several days or weeks as part of the application process. As a result, if you anticipate needing your passport in the weeks and months leading up to your trip, you should discuss this with us and/or the visa agency/embassy as soon as possible so that you can plan accordingly.

Once your visas have been issued, please double-check that the information is correct, particularly the number of entries, dates of entry/exit, and any duration or validity restrictions. Embassies are known to make errors, and any inaccuracies may result in you being denied entry to the relevant country or having your trip cut short!

Because we have clients from all over the world, we strongly advise that if you are travelling on a non-UK passport, you contact your nearest consulate/embassy as soon as possible for the most up-to-date visa information.

Passport

Before you plan your dream international vacations, there’s one thing you’ll definitely need: a valid passport. And one of your first questions might be: How long does it take to get a passport? Right now, the process can take up to 5 weeks to 11 weeks, so you’ll want to start planning far in advance.

Please note that entry to any country may be refused even if the required information and travel documents are complete. Travelley  will require full passport information (full name, date of birth, passport number, Nationality, issue and expiry dates) prior to final payment in order to secure Travel Products for many itineraries. 

Health

It is essential that you visit your GP or a travel clinic well in advance of travel, preferably at least six weeks ahead, to make sure that you have taken all the necessary health precautions. Some vaccinations necessitate multiple visits, with weeks between injections, and others may be incompatible with certain medications or medical conditions. As a result, it is critical to consider your personal medical history. You may wish to use the Medical Advisory Service for Travelers Abroad for up-to-date medical advice.
